PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, or PUBG for short, is a battle royale game developed and published by Bluehole. The game was released for Microsoft Windows on December 20, 2017.
The game is a survival game where up to one hundred players are dropped onto an island and must fight to the death. The last player or team standing wins the match. The game has two main modes: Solo and Duo. A new mode, Squad, was added in May 2018. In Solo mode, the player is against all other players. In Duo mode, the player is teamed up with one other player. In Squad mode, the player is teamed up with three other players.
The game has three different maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. Erangel is a large map with eightx8 kilometers of playable area. Miramar is a desert map that is twice the size of Erangel. Sanhok is a smaller map that is fourxfour kilometers in size.
The game has three different types of vehicles: cars, motorcycles, and boats. Players can also use a variety of weapons to kill other players, including melee weapons and firearms. The game features a dynamic weather system that includes rain and snowfall.
