During the first two weeks of the engagement, you can terminate at any point. This time will allow you to see if the engagement will be successful. From there, you can either keep going, we can part ways, or we'll provide you with another designer who may be a better fit.
Agencies have every incentive to maximize their billable hours, and their selection of designers is limited, often to a single timezone. NUMI gives you a full-fledged design department for a flat monthly rate, and our guild has dozens of designers meaning you get a better match aligned to your needs, taste, and working hours.
We allow our you to begin a trial period with up to three designers from our network per role. While we rigorously vet all applicants to ensure skill and intelligence, we understand that not every person will be a perfect fit for every company. For this reason, we allow you to work with multiple designers for each position before you decide on a candidate with whom you are confident and comfortable.

We gather your schedule requirements on our first call together. The designers that we present to either already conform to your timezone or are willing to work with you to arrive at a schedule that mutually works.
NUMI sources the best designers from around the world. All of them work from home and seamlessly integrate into your team remotely.
We are remote first. There have only been a few instances where clients have felt it absolutely necessary to bring a NUMI designer physically on-site. If this truly is a requirement, we can work with you to coordinate relocating an individual or team to your location for a specified period of time for an additional cost.
Your company does! Our contracts ensure the IP produced during the engagement is yours and yours alone.
NUMI enters into agreements with every designer of our network. Through these agreements, NUMI obtains exclusive ownership of the work created by the NUMI designer that works with you. We then provide you with the intellectual property for the work that the NUMI designer creates for you under our client agreement. You can engage with your designer just as you would a regular teammate. Feel free to invite them to standup, meetings, or give them their own company email! They’re embedded on your team as deeply as you'd like.
While we currently do not supply these services, we may plan on offering them in the future.
We will invoice you every two weeks. The subscription runs automatically, through Stripe.
We run all of our payments through Stripe, and accept credit card and ACH there.
For design, the minimum commitment is one month.
Each and every NUMI designer writes and speaks conversational to fluent English. Before we invite prospects to tackle our industry leading, domain-specific tests, we conduct lengthy interviews to ensure they have a high level of proficiency in English and have characters well-suited to working with western technical teams.
Besides design prowess, we screen for communication skills, domain knowledge, and a high bar of professionalism. Less than 2% of applicants pass our screening process.
